Heating with the waste heat from Bitcoin mining
Computing power inevitably produces heat. Depending on the heat requirement, one (max. 7kw) to two (max. 14kw) Bitcoin miners are installed in the RY3T ONE, which lie in a liquid called Bitcool. The Bitcool absorbs the waste heat from the miners and transfers it to the heating system via a heat exchanger. In this way, we use valuable energy twice: 1. for computing power, i.e. Bitcoin mining, and 2. the waste product of digitization = the waste heat for heating.
Earn money in the form of Bitcoin while heating your home
We can use the waste heat from Bitcoin miners to heat your underfloor heating, radiators, domestic hot water and even your swimming pool. As the owner of a RY3T ONE, you receive Bitcoin for the computing power you provide in the form of Bitcoin mining. A renovated old building with a heating requirement of approx. 11,000 kWh generates around 0.03 Bitcoin (KYC-less) per year. For the next five years, we conservatively expect an average remuneration of 20 centimes/cents per kWh.
Supplementary or primary heating system
You can install the RY3T ONE as a supplement to your oil, gas or heat pump heating system or as a primary heating source. If you are also the proud owner of a PV system, you can use the electricity you generate to mine Bitcoin and heat for free, especially during the transitional periods in fall and spring.
The cheapest way to heat
By using energy twice, the RY3T ONE is the cheapest and most sustainable way to heat. The following table compares the total heating costs of an average single-family home in Switzerland with a heating requirement of 11,000 kWh.

3 steps to the RY3T ONE
We want to make the path to the RY3T ONE as easy as possible for you. That’s why we have set up a simple process. We also work with certified RY3T partners to guarantee a smooth installation. The entire ordering process is explained here.
1. RESERVATION
By reserving your RY3T ONE, you are taking the first step and starting the process. In an introductory meeting, we will explain the process and get to know your current heating system.
2. PLANNING
In order to provide you with a comprehensive quote, we will visit you on site with our certified installation partners. If you agree with the offer, we will start with the 3rd step.
3. INSTALLATION
We define an installation date together. Our partners prepare the electrical and heating work. We deliver the RY3T ONE personally and commission it with you on site.
